Tenerife in Spring: The weather and climate on the island of Tenerife is often described as 'spring-like', with constant
warm temperatures year-round and a fresh feeling, due to the pleasant Gulf air currents. Spring is a particularly popular time of the year to visit Tenerife, when temperatures rise slightly from February and March onwards, averaging around
22°C / 72°F. By April and May, average daytime temperatures hover around 24°C / 75°F, with endless sunny weather and an enormous variety of micro-climates. Many people choose to visit Tenerife during the spring months, to take advantage of both the warm weather and cheaper air fares Sumer weather in Tenerife: summer season and best weather generally falls between the months of May and October, and this has long been a popular time to visit the island. Tenerife weather in winter: winter is the coolest time of the year on Tenerife, although the weather and climate is still extremely mild, retaining a tropical feel. Offering the perfect winter break, with plenty of sunny weather, a warm subtropical climate, a low rainfall, endless stretches of sandy beaches and water temperatures of around 19°C / 66°F, Tenerife's winter months are definitely the island's high season. December and January have average daytime temp of around 21°C / 70°F, although night times can often feel much cooler.

Weather in Tenerife isle changes considerably depending on your location. The warmest climate can be found on the
south and west sides of the island. But, if you go near El Teide, cold winds and snow wouldn't be hard to find. Tenerife features the lowest temperature 'difference' between summer and winter for anywhere in the world. The weather occasionally includes rain, but there is no specific 'rainy season'. Air conditioning is quite rare, with overhead fans usually providing sufficient air movement to stay cool, even at the height of summer. The minimum and maximum annual average air temperatures in Tenerife are about 15C in winter and 24C in summer. Therefore we enjoy wonderful weather in one of the world's best and most delightful climates. Tenerife island offers a surprising variety of micro-climatic weather zones, enabling people to almost 'choose' their climate, depending on where they live. The Trade winds, together with the refreshing Gulf air currents, are the major weather factors that contribute to Tenerife's weather & climate. The great altitude of Mount Teide gets up to three months of snow - yet it is still possible to enjoy a swim on the beach within an hour's ride.
